Armenian carpets are real examples of arts and crafts that embody the professionalism of the people that created them.  The best carpets In Yerevan at present are made at the factory Megerian, inside which is opened a museum with the same name.   

No tour to Armenia can be accomplished without visiting this unique place. Only here the guests of the city can follow all the stages of carpet manufacturing; weaving, dyeing, cutting and trimming.  During the works only natural materials are used. Especially for tourists are organized master classes, during which they can create their own patterns with special meaning.

Besides the modern collections of the museum, there are also precious exponents created several centuries ago. The oldest carpet dates back to the 17th century.
