This unique building, built back in the 1970s, at the beginning of the century, became the center of urban culture of Yerevan. Today, the Cascade is not only a system of stairs and fountains, but a real open-air museum. On the square in front of the complex ther is an exhibition of contemporary sculptures, including the Black Cat by the famous artist Fernando Botero. Interesting sculptures are presented on each of the floors of the Cascade. From the observation platform opens an incredible view of the whole city and Mount Ararat.

Inside the complex there is an interesting museum. It presents a variety of works of art and collections of Gerard Gafeschyan. One of the favorite places of tourists is the Swarovski room, where the crystals of the famous brand are used as a material for art objects.
