Every year not far from the famous memorial complex and the Museum “Sardarapat”, the most delicious holiday of Armenia, the Dolma Festival, is held. Traditionally, this dish is called “tolma” and is prepared not only from grape leaves, but also from many other ingredients.

The visitors of the festival during master-classes learn new recipes of dolma from the best chiefs of Armenia. Restaurants from Yerevan and other cities compete with one another for a special prize. Only the best dolma will get a statuette awarded by a special jury.  

The festival is accompanied by traditional music. Participation is free of charge. Dolma and other treats are obtained separately.
