Spiritual Center of all Armenians

According to most scholars Etchmiadzin was the first cathedral built in ancient Armenia, and is often considered the oldest cathedral in the world.

the Temple of St. Hripsime

A masterpiece of early Christian architecture

 We shall visit the Temple of St. Hripsime - a classic example of the early Christian architecture in Armenia. 

Garni pagan temple

We will see the only pagan temple in the territory of Transcaucasia.

An Ionic pagan temple located in the village of Garni. It is the best-known structure and symbol of pre-Christian Armenia. The structure was built by king Tiridates I in the first century AD as a temple to the sun god Mihr.

Geghard Rock Monastery

We shall visit a monastery carved out of the rock

We shall visit a medieval monastery, partially carved out of the adjacent rock listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site with enhanced protection status. Here, from ancient times, there is a holy spring originating from a cave, which according to the legend heals any illness.

Lake Sevan and the Monastery on the Peninsula

Enjoy the picturesque sight of the lake from the top of the hill of the peninsula. We shall visit one of the biggest freshwater lakes in the world.

We shall see the picturesque miracle of the nature "the Armenian pearl", one of the oldest freshwater high altitude lakes in the world. Enjoy the beautiful view of the lake from the peninsula hill, where the medieval monastery Sevanavank is located.

Sevan whitefish barbeque and a special barbeque from crabs

You will have the opportunity to dine on the shore of lake Sevan and try the barbeque of the famous Sevan whitefish and special barbeque from crabs.

An architectural ensemble of incredible beauty

We shall visit the monastery complex of the 5th century - Dadivank, which stands in a fantastically beautiful place and is incredibly blended into the surrounding landscape. Back in the middle of the 1st century on the grave of Dadi, a disciple of the Apostle Thaddeus, the first basilica was built, existing to this day.

The village Vank is a special place.There is no other place like this in the entire post-Soviet space. You will walk along the street lined with old Soviet car numbers, see the figure of a lion carved in the rock, and many other interesting things.

Gandzasar Monastery

The Mount of treasures

The monastery got its name from the mountain, which the locals called Gandzasar, because of the silver mines in it. Here the head of John the Baptist, brought here from the Cilician Armenia.


The cozy capital of Artsakh

Take a walk in the capital of Artsakh, where there are many picturesque places, landscaped parks and cozy courtyards.
Take a picture at the monument "Grandparents". The monument was built in 1967 from reddish tuff, the author is the sculptor Sargis Baghdasaryan.

We will visit the oldest and highest tree in the territory of CIS - the Skhtorashen plane tree Tjri, that is over 2028 years old. The height of the tree is more than 54 m. The cavity in the tree trunk has an area of44 sq.m. The tree can shelter more than hundred people. The diameter of the stem base is 27 m. The shade of the tree covers an area of 1400 km.

Stone fortress

We start the tour by getting acquainted with the Shushi fortress, that proudly sits on a plateau located on the top of a steep mountain, from where the whole surrounding area is clearly visible.
For centuries, the ancient city was the administrative, religious, cultural and educational center of Artsakh. There were 10 educational institutions, 485 shops, 5 printing houses, theaters, a hospital, 2 libraries, numerous workshops, mills, hotels and courtyards.

Ghazanchechoc Cathedral in Shushi


We shall visit The Cathedral of Christ the Saviour – it is the main temple of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Shushi. Located in the very center of the city, the church, rising against the backdrop of green hills, dominates not only the entire plateau, but also over the immense Karkar valley. The church of Ghazanchechoc kept a lot of manuscripts and gilded guardians.


Masterpiece of medieval architecture

Wings of Tatev is a 5.7 km cableway between Halidzor and the Tatev monastery in Armenia. It is the longest reversible aerial tramway built in only one section, and holds the record for Longest non-stop double track cable car.
Tatev Monastery is a 9th-century Armenian Apostolic monastery located on a large basalt plateau. It stands on the edge of a deep gorge of the Vorotan River.

Devil’s Bridge

Оne of Armenia’s natural wonders – “Devil’s Bridge”

Located below Tatev Monastery, in the 500-meter gorge of the Vorotan River, is one of Armenia’s natural wonders – “Devil’s Bridge”. The width of this natural bridge is 60 m, the length 30 m.

Khndzoresk Bridge is 160-meter long bridge weighting 14 tons, connects the two banks of the village, Old and New Khndzoresk.

What will we see


The monastery is best known for its two-storey Surb Astvatsatsin (Holy Mother of God) church.

Noravank is a 13th-century Armenian monastery, located in a narrow gorge made by the Amaghu River, near the town of Yeghegnadzor. The gorge is known for its tall, sheer, brick-red cliffs, directly across from the monastery. 

Bird Cave

The excavation is located above the Arpa River, inside a Karst Cavern made from tens of thousands of years of mineral water dripping into limestone crevices.

It consists of three rooms or halls, the first two of which are connected by passageways. There are also niches and “basement” and “attic” floors opening upward and downward from the first room. The total area of the cave is about 500 square meters

The sight of the most ancient winery

Let us continue with our trip to Areni, where you can get acquainted with the millennia-old traditions of the Armenian winemaking and taste various sorts of Armenian wine in the “Old Bridge” winery at the winemaker Armen.

Khor Virap

We shall approach the foot of the Biblical Mount Ararat.

We shall visit the monastery at the foot of the biblical mountain, located 40 km away from Yerevan. The monastery is known for its location that provides a wonderful view to the Mount Ararat. Here St. Grigor Lusavorich, the first Christian mentor, carried his torments.  Just thanks to the efforts of St. Grigor Lusavorich Armenia adopted Christianity in 301.

We shall visit Yerevan Vernissage  - the souvenir market, where you can buy silver, ceramic products, etc., after which you will have the opportunity to visit the market where you can buy fruits, dried fruits and other natural gifts.
